Rs 4.15L looted by bikers

JALANDHAR: Three bike-borne unidentified men snatched and looted Rs 4.15 lakh from a youth at Malsian on Tuesday. The victim was identified as Mintu (29) who used to work for a money changer.

Three bike-borne unidentified men snatched and looted Rs 4.15 lakh from a youth at Malsian on Tuesday. The victim was identified as Mintu (29) who used to work for a money changer.

The accused fled from the crime scene after the incident. The complainant informed the police that he was coming by bus and when he got off the bus, three men who were on a bike stood beside him, pushed him and snatched his bag which had the cash. The victim got injured also as he fell after getting pushed.

The SHO of Shahkot said the whole incident had been captured on the CCTV camera and they were seeing the footage and investigating the matter. A case has been registered. — TNS
