HP Udaan Scholarship Programme

HP Inc. India is giving this scholarship to students of economically weaker sections pursuing  post-matric courses, under-graduation and diploma programmes from any accredited institute. A total of 750 scholars will be selected. As many as 50 per cent seats are reserved for the female candidates.

Eligibility: Students who have cleared Class X in 2018 and currently enrolled for one-year diploma/ITI or two- year HSC/Diploma/ITI programmes. Students who have cleared Class XII in 2018 and currently enrolled for three-year diploma or three-year UG programmes. Candidates must have scored a minimum of 60 per cent marks in the last qualifying examination and have family income less than Rs 4 lakh p.a.

Details: For Class XI-XII/ITI/Diploma, Rs 20,000 p.a.; for three-year degree/diploma, Rs 30,000 p.a.; one-time Rs 20,000 for 1-year ITI/diploma.

Sarla Devi Scholarship

The Dharampal Satyapal Charitable Trust is offering this scholarship to students undergoing any kind of personal crisis that is causing hindrance in their higher education. This scholarship supports families dwindling with finances to help them with their wards' higher studies post Class IX in any stream.

Eligibility: Applicants who are orphans, physically challenged, cancer patients, or have single parent (only mother) or have any chronic illness (candidate or immediate family member) can send their entries. Family income should be below Rs 4.5 lakh p.a. 

Details: 100 needy students will be awarded with Rs 10,000.

India Scholars Programme

College Board is providing scholarship to meritorious Indian students coming from under-privileged sections of society to study in any one of the ten partner universities. Class XII students need to appear for SAT exam in March 2019. 

Eligibility: Class XII students who are studying in India and have family income less than Rs 6 lakh can appear for the test.

Details: Exam fee of SAT exam (worth Rs 7,000) is exempted for all Class XII students with family income less than Rs 6 lakh. Students who score very well and have family income less than Rs 4 lakh are eligible to get full tuition scholarship to study in any partner university.
