Unleash 2.0 to create inclusiveness within organisations

Corporate offices face challenges arising from managing a multi-generational, multi-cultural, and multi-gender workforce in which societal stereotyping and biases are common.

Corporate offices  face challenges arising from managing a multi-generational, multi-cultural, and multi-gender workforce in which societal stereotyping and biases are common. Such stereotyping and biases not only hamper productivity but also have an impact on an organisation’s brand and on the success of its business.

To help organisations leverage diversity, Marching Sheep, a boutique HR advisory firm, which works in the areas of Diversity and Inclusion, Organisation Design Consulting, Talent Assessment, Management, and Coaching, is launching its inclusion programme called Unleash 2.0. The programme is content neutral process facilitation that allows participants to identify and overcome unconscious biases which, when left unchecked, can adversely impact the performance of a team and hamper productivity.

Unconscious biases may be present in employees towards those of a different gender, generation, sexual orientation, culture, or language. They impact an organisation’s work culture and make it difficult to attract and retain the best talent. Many of the most talented in their fields usually choose to work in organisations that are inclusive and in which stereotyping based on ethnicity and gender is absent. During Unleash 2.0, men and women address tacit and unspoken biases that might be preventing diverse teams from realizing their full potential. — TNS
