Leaving the struggle behind

It’s not a cakewalk for anybody to get into the Telly industry without a struggle. Arina Dey, who recently made her Hindi television debut with Star Bharat show Musakaan, also faced hardships before bagging the lead role of Aarti in the show. While she has always dreamt of becoming a part of an engrossing Hindi show, her father was not quite okay with her decision. But she kept her belief alive and reached Mumbai even though her father never wanted her to enter the industry.   

Arina plays the role of a mother who also happens to be an erotic dancer in the show. It was a difficult task for her to explain the role that she is playing and convince her dad for the same. A close source to the actor informs that Arina’s dad was against the character that she was playing. Even before getting the role, her dad did not want her to struggle in Mumbai and stay on her own in the city. Her father was afraid of the possibilities of her not making it big in Mumbai and therefore wanted her to focus in Bengali shows in Kolkata. Well, the good part is that, her father now religiously follows Musakaan and is glad to see her daughter doing well in the show!
