During the book launch of daughter Shaheen Bhatt’s, “I’ve Never Been (Un)Happier”, the entire ‘Bhatt’ clan was spotted supporting her—but things got heated, when filmmaker-father Mahesh Bhatt lost his temper at a journalist.

The filmmaker, while answering a question by the journalist, got really emotional. Mahesh was seen giving an impassioned speech, which was about fitting in the society. The speech became so heated, that his daughter-actor Alia Bhatt had to call him out.

But, Mahesh ignores Alia, and continues with his speech, which leaves the actress uncomfortable and says: “I warned you this was going to happen.”

Later, Mahesh’s wife Soni Razdan was also seen signalling him to calm down. However, Mahesh proceeds and says: “I can’t expect a young little girl to fit into this sick world where brutality is legitimized.”

Meanwhile, at the launch, Alia and Pooja were Shaheen’s biggest cheerleaders.

Soni opened up about how she couldn’t figure out the symptoms of depression—chronic insomnia, being one. Shaheen also revealed about the resistance she felt about seeking help.
