Is Akshay lying?

Akshay Kumar has been the centre of controversy because of his citizenship.  Akshay was trolled when he didn’t vote during the elections in Mumbai as he holds the Canadian citizenship.  Soon after, Akshay issued a statement on Twitter stating that he has not visited Canada in the last seven years. However, now, a Twitter user claims that the actor is lying as the user has shared a few screenshots which prove Akshay was in Canada few years back. 

The user,  Chirag, posted Mika Singh’s tweet which talked about a “wonderful party” in Toronto, Canada with Akshay Kumar and other celebrities in 2014. The user also posted few screenshots of articles which claimed that he was spotted at Tina Varmani’s wedding in Canada in 2014.
