Dirt Drift Event to start from April 27

LUDHIANA: A large number of participants have confirmed entries in the sixth edition of the three-day Dirt Drift Event to be organised by the Punjab Motor Sports Club here at the Ireo Water Front, South City, from April 27 to 29.

Ludhiana, April 25

A large number of participants have confirmed entries in the sixth edition of the three-day Dirt Drift Event to be organised by the Punjab Motor Sports Club here at the Ireo Water Front, South City, from April 27 to 29.

Anchit Dhir, president of the organising club said the competition in the four wheeler category (11,00cc to 14,00cc) would be conducted during the event.

Dhir also added that the driver of the fastest four wheeler in the contest would be given a cash prize of Rs1 lakh.

Besides, the participants would be vying for honours in biking and cycling also. The first three positions holders in all these events would be given cash prizes, he said.

A fashion show, choreographed by Miss Ludhiana, Manmeet Sandhu and clothes designed by Alankrita and Akanksha would be the main feature on the final day, added Dhir.

The entry charges for the cars are Rs 2,500 and Rs2,000 for the bikes while Rs1,500. The scrutiny of cars will be done on Friday followed by qualifying competition.
