Ludhiana: The department of electronics and communication engineering, Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, organised a one-week faculty development programme under TEQIP-III, in association with ABVIET, Pragati Nagar, Shimla, from June 10 to 15.

Ludhiana: The department of electronics and communication engineering, Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, organised a one-week faculty development programme under TEQIP-III, in association with ABVIET, Pragati Nagar, Shimla, from June 10 to 15. Sehijpal Singh, principal, GNDEC, welcomed the chief guest, Manju Bala, director of Khalsa College of Engineering and Technology, Amritsar. Sehijpal Singh said teaching was sacred profession through which teachers transform power in terms of knowledge to their students. He added that these courses not only enlightened the  participants about new technologies but also gave them a platform to share their ideas with each other. Experts from various IITs, NITs, NITTTR , Punjabi University and GNDU, Amritsar, delivered talks and enlightened the participants about different topics related to the course. Practical knowledge on various tools was also imparted to the participants. TNS
