Khaira’s photo smudged

Controversy arises at Issru on Tuesday when some unidentified persons blackened Sukhpal Singh Khaira’s photo on a flax board that was installed by his supporters on the eve of martyrdom day of martyr Karnail Singh Issru.

Two flax boards with photos of Khaira were installed, out of which, one was near the statue of the martyr. Some unidentified persons blackened Khaira’s picture and the second flax near the rally venue also had some mud on his picture. After the incident came to light, his supporters cleaned his photos and condemned this act of nuisance.

Though heavy police have been deployed near the site, some miscreants managed to do this kind of act. Meanwhile, Khaira supporters had decided to organise a conference at Issru to pay tributes to martyr Karnail Singh Issru. Khaira along with his other MLAs will reach Khanna, from where their supporters would bring him to the venue in a cavalcade of cars. OC
