Former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday mocked at Nitish Kumar's reunion with the BJP saying that the Bihar chief minister could not resist separation from his former ally.

Yadav took to twitter saying: “Na Na karte pyaar tumhi se kar bethe, karna tha inkar, magar ikraar tumhi se kar bethe."

Within 24 hours of cutting cods with RJD’s Lalu Yadav, Nitish on Thursday took oath as Bihar Chief Minister and BJP’s Sushil Modi as deputy chief minister.

This is Kumar's second innings in the last two years, after he snapped ties late on Wednesday with the Grand Alliance partners Rashtriya Janata Dal and the Congress, over corruption charges against Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav.

Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi administered the oath at the Raj Bhavan in Bihar.
