Forest fires rage across U’khand

Dehradun: Major forest fires raged across Uttarakhand on Saturday even as three National Disaster Response Force teams were deployed in Almora, Gauchar and Pauri and a state team in Nainital to extinguish the flames. Since February, 922 fires have been reported, killing seven people and blighting 1,890 hectares.
