The Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday dubbed the detention of Telangana MLA and Congress working president Revanth Reddy as illegal, giving the grand alliance a chance to lambast the caretaker TRS government a day before campaigning comes to an end.

Reddy was picked from his home early today morning by security personnel on the charge of giving a bandh call ahead of chief minister’s visit to his Kondangal constituency.

The Congress proposes to make it a big election issue against the caretaker TRS government on the last day of campaigning tomorrow.

The Congress has written a letter to CEO accusing him of issuing orders to the police and blaming him for the loss of campaigning time and money made for helicopter and other arrangements.
