Former Congress MLA Joginder Singh Punjgrain joins Shiromani Akali Dal

Former Congress MLA Joginder Singh Punjgrain on Tuesday joined the Shiromani Akali Dal in the presence of president Sukhbir Badal. He was currently the halqa incharge of Bhadaur.

On this occasion, Badal alleged that PPCC president Sunil Jakhar was threatening SAD- BJP workers, especially in Abohar. Dozens of false cases had been registered against BJP and SAD workers in the area, he said. There were a few women who had alleged that their family members had been wrongly implicated in cases, he added.
