Sangrur, May 15
With just a few days left for the polling, candidates of various parties have intensified their campaign and some have even adopted new techniques to expand their reach among voters.
Former Finance Minister and SAD-BJP candidate Parminder Singh Dhindsa today played cricket with local youth, while Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann helped farmers in dousing fire in their fields. He is focussing mainly on village-level meetings. However, Congress candidate Kewal Singh Dhillon is organising big rallies.
Dhindsa today interacted with morning walkers at the local Banasar Garden about the importance of morning walk and yoga. “I have come here to enjoy morning walk and play cricket with the youth. I haven’t discussed politics with anyone,” said Dhindsa.
Mann is putting his best efforts to expand his reach among voters through various ways like helping farmers in dousing fire in their fields, discussing about their crop production, rising debt and various other issues.
“I have always remained with you and know your problems,” he said during his village-level meeting.
