President Ram Nath Kovind to visit Sultanpur Lodhi on Tuesday

NEW DELHI: President Ram Nath Kovind will visit Punjab on Tuesday to attend celebrations of 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev organised by Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) at Sultanpur Lodhi, according to a communiqué from Rahstrapati Bhawan.

President Ram Nath Kovind will visit Punjab on Tuesday to attend celebrations of 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev organised by Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) at Sultanpur Lodhi, according to a communiqué from Rahstrapati Bhawan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also visited Sultanpur Lodhi on Saturday and paid obeisance at historic Ber Sahib Gurdwara before heading off to Dera Baba Nanak to inaugurate the passenger terminal building at the Karatpur Corridor.

Guru Nanak had spent 14 years of his life at Sultanpur Lodhi. Devotees in large numbers visit the historical city every day.

An elaborate arrangement has been made with regard to the ongoing celebrations at Sultanpur Lodhi.
