Chandigarh, January 18
More than a year after the Punjab and Haryana High Court Collegium recommended the names of advocates for elevation as HC judges, the Supreme Court Collegium has remitted seven names back to the HC.
The collegium asserted that the proposal for the elevation of Sukant Gupta, Sanjay Vashisth, Jasdeep Singh Gill, Mansur Ali, Sunil Kumar Singh Panwar, Deepinder Singh Nalwa and Harsh Bunger, advocates, deserved to be remitted to the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
