Bathinda, January 18

A 75-year-old man, who fell off a bus outside the bus stand on Saturday here, died during treatment at a hospital. After being informed, members of a local NGO took him to the government hospital for treatment where he breathed his last.

As per the information, the victim, identified as Satish Kumar, fell off while alighting from the bus outside the bus stand and fell unconscious. After passengers informed members of the NGO, Sahara Welfare Society, they took him to the Civil Hospital. He was admitted to the emergency ward where doctors started his treatment, but later he died at the hospital.

The deceased was identified from his Aadhaar card recovered from his possession. He was going from Ambala to Dabwali. The family members of the victim have been informed. The police are investigating.
