CHANDIGARH: A doctor, who was allegedly drunk, created a ruckus at the GMCH-32 here on Holi.

Chandigarh, March 22

A doctor, who was allegedly drunk, created a ruckus at the GMCH-32 here on Holi.

Security guards at the hospital told the police that the doctor abused and misbehaved with them. “The incident happened near the Serai building when the doctor, who was drunk, abused us in full public view. He also manhandled one of the guards. Under pressure, the police did not take any action against him or got his medical examination done,” they alleged.

When contacted, the doctor denied the allegations. He said he was neither drunk nor he misbehaved.

Baldev Singh, SHO, Sector 34 police station, said, “The guards and the doctor have reached a compromise.” —TNS
