Chandigarh: A 60-year-old man reportedly tried to commit suicide by trying to slit his neck with a blade at a park in Sector 35 here. The police said the victim, Manjit Singh, who was reportedly into depression, told his family that he was going for a walk in the park outside his house. The victim’s neighbour saw him and informed the cops. The victim was rushed to a hospital where his condition is said to be stable. An investigation has been initiated. TNS
