To spread awareness about the need for the conservation of the environment among people in rural areas, Siddharth Bishnoi, grandson of former Haryana Chief Minister Bhajan Lal began his second and the final phase of a cycle rally from Kalka on Sunday.

Sidharth, who is also the managing trustee of Bhajan Lal Foundation, said the main aim of the cycle rally was to spread awareness on environmental issues.

Giving details, Siddharth said the final phase began from Kali Mata Mandir, Kalka, and would continue for next 11 days. He appealed to people to join the cycle rally and the foundation to spread awareness and make a change in Haryana regardless of party affiliations.

He said earlier he and other volunteers had cycled for more than 300 kilometres and across 150 villages in the past one month as part of the campaign.
