Revenue officials' strike to continue till December 1

Mohali, November 28

Members of the Punjab Revenue Officers’ Association will take out a protest march from the ground in front of Gurdwara Angitha Sahib, opposite Gurdwara Amb Sahib, to the office of the Punjab DGP (Vigilance) here tomorrow morning.

Along with revenue officers, employees of the DC office would also take part in the march, a press release stated.

Further, the association announced that the ongoing strike by revenue officials was extended till December 1. The protest was being held to express anguish against the alleged false implication and arrest of Mahilpur Naib Tehsildar Sandeep Kumar and registry clerk Manjit Singh by the Vigilance Department recently. — TNS
