Tarn Taran, April 18
A 40-year-old resident of Jaura Fatak, Amritsar, was killed in a road accident near the Nagoke crossing (Khadoor Sahib), 30 km from here, on Thursday evening. The police said the deceased has been identified as Sajan Kumar. The accident occurred when a Bolero (PB46Y5244) hit the victim’s scooter. The car driver has been booked under Sections 304-A, 279 and 427 of the IPC by the Verowal police. He is said to be at large. The police said the deceased was on his scooter (PB02Z4940) when the car hit him head on near the Nagoke crossing. — OC
