The two-day OYA Autocross Motocross and Off Roading event concluded in Mohali on Sunday.

Rallyist Karan Sharma finished on top in the four-wheel drive above 1400 to 2000CC categories of the OYA Autocross. The 33-year-old clocked 2 minutes, 25 seconds to clinch the title.
An IT engineer by profession, Sharma is a rallying enthusiast and has participated in OYA Autocross 2014, 2015, St John’s Old Boys Association (SJOBA) 2016, 2015, and Fast and Furious, Ludhiana, in the past.
He finished sixth in his maiden attempt in the SJOBA rally in 2016.
“I am very happy with my performance. I hope to do better next time. It’s not easy to manage time between racing and a job of an IT professional. I get time on weekdays and holidays only,” said Sharma.
