Chandigarh, April 16
The Department of Hindi, PU, in collaboration with the Central Translation Bureau, New Delhi, and Nagar Rajbhasha Karyanrayan Samiti will organise a five-day translation training programme from April 22 to 26.
Dr Gurmeet Singh, Chairperson of the department, and Sangeeta Vashishit, Secretary of the City Official Language Committee, said apart from students of the university, more than 30 translators and Hindi officers working in different Central government offices would participate in the programme. — TNS
