Unknown person stole Rs 49,000 from a woman passenger’s bag while riding an auto-rickshaw.
According to the police, the complainant, Shanta Attri of Rabon village in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh, stated that she had boarded an auto-rickshaw from the Housing Board light point on October 16. She alighted at the Sector 26/27/19/7 roundabout on the Madhya Marg, and found that someone had stolen Rs 49,000 from her bag.
A case has been registered at the Sector 26 police station.
