Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has stated that the predictions extended by the exit polls endorsed the pro-incumbency sentiment of the people towards the BJP government at the Centre. The BJP would win all 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana, he added.

Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a meeting organised at the state BJP headquarters to take the feedback of the party’s Lok Sabha candidates and election in-charges and coordinators here today, Khattar said the exit polls indicated that the people were happy with the performance of the BJP government.

The Chief Minister also visited the family members of Sepoy Sandeep Malik of Behalba village in Rohtak district, who was killed in an encounter with terrorists in Pulwama recently. He consoled the martyr’s mother and wife and assured them of full help and support from the state government.

Khattar announced that a park would be made in the village in memory of the martyr and added that family members of the martyr would get due honour as per the established protocol.

Meanwhile, BJP’s Haryana unit president Subhash Barala appreciated the efforts of the party workers in the Lok Sabha elections and exhorted them to maintain the momentum for the upcoming Vidhan Sabha elections.
