Ambala, November 23
Bharatiya Kisan Union (Charuni) chief Gurnam Singh Charuni has expressed apprehension that the government may arrest farmers’ leaders to weaken their movement of Delhi march on November 26.
The farmer unions have given the call of Delhi march to mark their protest against the three controversial farm laws.
Charuni, who released a video addressing the farmers on Monday, said: “The government may adopt any tactic to weaken the ongoing movement of Delhi march but we have to face and overcome it. It may arrest all your leaders. However, even if we are arrested, the movement shouldn’t get failed as every farmer is a leader. You have to reach in large numbers, break all barricades and reach the assembly point at Education City near Kundli border before entering Delhi and make the struggle a success.”
