Hamirpur, April 9
Be prepared for the next General Election and take programmes and policies of the Centre to people at booth level. This was stated by Anurag Thakur, Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, during an informal interaction with BJP and Yuva Morch leaders of the district at the Circuit House here today morning.
Thakur arrived here yesterday and was accorded warm welcome by the party leaders. He had various rounds of meeting with BJP leaders in district Bilaspur and he left for Dharmapur constituency for meetings with BJP leaders. The BJP had planned to highlight the achievements of the Modi government on the completion of nine years of ruling in the country.
As part of the planning, the BJP will take achievements of the Modi government to booth level workers and people in villages. Thakur wanted this programme to be a great success in his parliamentary constituency that includes 17 Assembly segments spread over the districts of Hamirur, Mandi, Una, Bilaspur and Kangra.
