BJP workshops in all 68 Assembly segments

Gearing up for the Lok Sabha elections, the Himachal BJP has decided to hold workshops for workers in all 68 Assembly constituencies and complete the first phase by March 26.

A detailed programme has been chalked for all four parliamentary seats with 17 Assembly segments each. Besides Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, former chief ministers Shanta Kumar and Prem Kumar Dhumal, ministers, MLAs and state office bearers would participate in the workshops in their districts and Assembly constituencies.

The workshop for Balh and Sarkaghat in Mandi Lok Sabha seat are being held today while workshops for Drang, Banjar, Seraj and Jogindernagar would be held on March 18, Mandi on March 19, Ani on March 22 Lahaul and Spiti, Rampur and Karsog on March 22 and Kinnaur, Bharmaur, Manali and Nachan on March 23 while workshops for Kullu and Sundernagar had already been held. In Shimla (Reserve) seat workshops for Arki, Kasauli, Pachhad, Nahan, Paonta Sahib and Jubbal-Kotkhai workshop would be held on March 18, Solan, Kusumpti,Shimla and Renukaji on March 19, Nalagarh, Doon, Shimla(Rural) Shillai, Chopal, Theog and Rohroo on March 20, a release issued here today said.

The workshop for Dharampur in Hamirpur parliamentary constituency had already been held, for Gagret and Haroli, the workshop is being held today, for Una and Sujanpur these will be on March 18, Bilaspur, Sri Nainadevi, Kutlehar and Badsar on March 19, Jhandutta, Ghumarwin, Hamirpur and Nadaun on March 20, Bhoranj on March22, Jaswan, Pragpur and Dehra in March 24 and Chintpurni on March 26. The workshop for Nurpur would be held on March 18, Fatehpur, Jwali and Nagrota Bhagwan on March 19,Bhattiyat on March 22, Chamba, Churah, Palampur, Jaisinghpur and Jwalamukhi on March 23,Dalhousie, Sulah, Kangra and Dharamsala would be held. — TNS
