MLA: Chamba’s development top priority

Newly elected BJP legislator from Chamba Pawan Nayyar said Chamba’s development and the welfare of its people would be given top priority under the leadership of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.

Pawan Nayyar, who met Jai Ram Thakur in Shimla today, said the CM had directed him to work with devotion and pay attention towards comprehensive and balanced development of the area. “I, along with officials of various government departments, will tour Chamba from tomorrow and meet people,” said Nayyar.

“I am committed to working for the progress and prosperity of Chamba,” he added. Nayyar said the network of roads and health, education, water supply and irrigation sectors would be given a facelift. Efforts would be made to launch new projects to generate self-employment avenues for the local people. — OC
