Srinagar, May 7

Three security personnel and a civilian were injured in a grenade attack by militants here on Friday. At around 4.45 pm, militants hurled a grenade towards security men in Nawa Bazar area of the city, a police official said.

He said the explosion caused injuries to two CRPF personnel of 36 Battalion, one policeman and a civilian.

In Doda, a terror hideout has been busted. RDX filled pipe bombs and IEDs have been seized.

Acting on a piece of specific information, the police and territorial army launched a search operation in the Chookyan forest area following which the recovery was made. — PTI/IANS
