Six new courts inaugurated

JALANDHAR: Judges of Punjab and Haryana High Court Justice Daya Chaudhary and Justice Rajan Gupta on Saturday inaugurated six additional courts at additional fourth floor and kids day care centre at the District Judicial Complex.

Judges of Punjab and Haryana High Court Justice Daya Chaudhary and Justice Rajan Gupta on Saturday inaugurated six additional courts at additional fourth floor and kids day care centre at the District Judicial Complex.

Justice Daya Chaudhary, who is also the administrative judge of sessions division here said, nowadays when Judiciary was an integral part of system, expectations of people have enhanced manifolds, therefore, integrity and honesty of judicial officers was the basic requirement of judicial system so that no one could raise finger on them.

Giving a clarion call to judges and advocates for waging second freedom struggle against corruption, dishonesty and other social maladies, Justice Chaudhary stated that it was necessary to show that we were committed for dispensing justice to needy and poor strata of society.

Justice Rajan Gupta, who was the chairman of building committee, Punjab, said, the six newly inaugurated court rooms would be helpful in solving problems faced by advocates, litigants and others.

In addition, Advocate General Punjab Atul Nanda stated that it was the red letter day for Jalandhar that Justice Daya Chaudhary and Justice Rajan Gupta had inspected the court complex. The new additional court complex would help in better dispensation of justice to the people.
