The seventh edition of the FORE International Conference on Digital Innovation 2018 was hosted by FORE School of Management (FSM), New Delhi last week.

The two-day international conference on Digital Innovation was addressed by eminent speakers from the British Academy UK, King's College London, Swansea University UK, IIM Kozhikode, IMT Ghaziabad, IIT Delhi, Faculty of Management Studies, BITS Pilani, ICFAI and FORE School of Management. 

The conferences objective was to provide a collaborative platform for researchers and experts in which discussions about the impact of digital technologies in creating safer cities in India could be held. Also discussed at the conference were topics such as Aadhaar, how retired Indians could remain active with the help of digital technologies, students awareness and attitudes towards cyber security, the New Delhi multi-model transportation system, economic drivers of ICT and other topics as well. 

The topics discussed included Digital Cities, Smart Cities, Urban Governance and Planning using ICT's, Digital Economy and ICT, Cyber Security, Digital Divide, Women's Movement, Double Marginalization, Women's Rights, Occidental and Oriental Cities, Gender Relations, Community Vs. Cosmopolitanism, Community Programming and Participation, Policies and Practices, Gender Budgeting and Social Institutions. In addition to the above, other topics were discussed as well. —TNS
