Ludhiana: Seven cell phones were recovered from the Observation Home, Shimlapuri, on Saturday. A case against unknown inmates was registered by the Shimlapuri police. As per information shared by Tarun Aggarwal, Superintendent of the Observation Home, on Saturday a routine checking was conducted in the barracks, during which staff noticed cell phones. They immediately informed the higher authorities and then to the police. Investigation officer ASI Ajmer Singh said a case under the Prison Act was registered against unknown inmates and now to identify the inmates who concealed the cell phones in the barracks, probe has been launched.
