Blogging – a new concept — is fast catching up among young girls and women in Ludhiana. They spend lot of time and energy to build a brand or promote a product, and for that they should be treated with respect. However, society did not look at their work in “respectable” manner. These were few views shared by budding bloggers in the city when they gathered at Bloggers Caucus 2.0 organised by Megha Malhotra Sharma and Raman Garg at Raddisson Blu, here today.
The bloggers included fashion, lifestyle, travel and health bloggers etc., who shared their journey into the world of blogging.
Bloggers Caucus 2.0 — a networking event — also featured lifestyle bands on the occasion. Sharing the aim behind holding the event, Raman Garg said this was a platform for both brands and bloggers to interact with each other and work together to promote the brand.
The bloggers included Alisha Sabharwal, Ash Sidana, Parul Verma, Ocean Thakur and many others.
The event focused on the increasing importance of online marketing, blogging and Internet in promoting businesses. The event featured top luxury brands, awards for bloggers, fashion walk etc. Established brands such as Tanishq, Le Khanna, Samaksh, Headmasters, Ginniz Bridal and Nail Studio, Kundan Jewellers, Arsheya Rai Dhanda, Sukhman Gill, UV Ghai, Jasminum, Denali, Anu Juneja were part of the fashion walk.
Event organiser Megha Malhotra Sharma said blogging and brands were synonymous to each other. She said Bloggers Caucus had moved to next level and in future, more sessions would be organised in the town.
