Tribune News Service

Ludhiana, June 24

A member of the Ludhiana West Grievances Redressal Committee, Satish Thaman, has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan for the opening of health dispensaries under the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) in all 95 wards of the city. A copy of the demand has also been sent to the Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.

He said a large number of all Central Government department employees would be able to avail the benefit of the CGHS dispensaries. Thaman said: “There is a dire need to open Central Government Health Scheme dispensaries in the city. A number of BSNL retirees and employees also wanted that these dispensaries should be opened so that they can get required treatment at these centres without any hassle.”
