CT University, Ludhiana, organises Cyclothon

Ludhiana: CT University, Ludhiana, organised a ‘Cyclothon’ — a 33-km cycle ride, during which 13-year-old Jessica was the youngest cyclist and 71-year-old RK Batish was the senior most participant. There were three starting points: Rakh Bagh, Grand Walk Mall and Dakha Village. Maninder Bedi, ACP (HQ), Jagraon, and Jagjit Singh, Dakha SHO, gave away medals and certificates to the participating cyclists. University managing director Manbir Singh said, “The mornings become more beautiful when collaborated with fitness. Indeed, cycling is the best way to exercise. In the era of increasing petrol rates, one may opt for cycle-ride to work or anywhere else. This event is a great reminder about the importance of cycles.” TNS
