Health officials honoured

LUDHIANA: The Health Department officials who gave good performance to eradicate polio were honoured during a special function organised by the Rotary Club at Rotary Bhawan today.

The Health Department officials who gave good performance to eradicate polio were honoured during a special function organised by the Rotary Club at Rotary Bhawan today.

Civil Surgeon Dr Parvinder Pal Singh Sidhu was the chief guest on the occasion.

While thanking office-bearers of the Rotary Club for organising the event, Dr Sidhu said such functions encourage the officials to work more hard for eradication of polio.

District governor Brijesh Singal said the Rotary Club was also committed to eradicate polio from Indian society.

Medical Officers from different organisations, including the LHV, ANM and ASHA workers were also honoured on the occasion by the club.
