Ludhiana, September 2
The pandemic has changed the entire world. There are no buyer-seller meets, no display of products during exhibitions, etc. At the same time, life can not be stopped and one has to move on. Understanding limitations of this new world, industrialists in the city feel that virtual meetings, exhibitions and interactions are must to run businesses.
President of FICO Gurmeet Singh Kular said there was a need to upgrade technology in the MSME sector.
“Though most of the people are locked inside their houses, business is something which has to be continued. And to move ahead in life, all people in the industry need to adapt to the latest technology by learning about videoconferencing, software adaptability and digital meetings,” Kular said.
Another businessman Rajiv Jain said “Ludhiana is witnessing a surge in demand for bicycles. But there is a long way to go if we want to compete with other countries. “ — TNS
