Ludhiana: Matribhasha Diwas which was celebrated with great excitement at Springdale Senior Secondary School. A debate competition in Punjabi was organised in which students of Class VIII took part enthusiastically. The motion of the debate was ' Mobile Phone- A boon or a bane. All the students were very excited to participate and they shared many innovative ideas on the appropriate use of mobile phone. They impressed the whole audience with their knowledge and intelligence during rebuttal round. The main motive of this debate was to highlight the importance of Mother Tongue and create awareness about how to use mobile phone effectively.
Farewell party
Tagore Public School organized BON-VOYAGE 2019' for class XII students. A hawan was organised to shower blessings on the students for their successful life ahead. Afterwards farewell party commenced. Principal D Narang and Vice-Principal Manju Kansal and teachers welcomed the students. The Principal addressed the students regarding CBSE rules to be followed during Examination. Teachers Vandana Chaudhary and Savita Khosla sang melodious songs for them. Kajalpreet Kaur of XII A was chosen as Miss Farewell and Samar of XII E as Mr Farewell.
Hawan organised
GMT Public School Jalandhar By pass organised a hawan ceremony to seek grace and blessings of goddess Saraswati for the students appearing for Class X and XII board examination. All students and teachers actively participated in the ceremony. ` School principal, Jasbir Kaur Bal showered her blessings on the students for their bright and successful future.
Foundation stone laid
The foundation stone of five storied building laying was laid at Nankana Sahib Public School, Gill Park, on Friday. It was laid by collectively by five students,senior-most teachers and members of the school Managing Committee. Before this ceremony, an ardas was performed and wished that building project may be completed within the stipulated time of one year. While addressing the gathering, Harmeet kaur Waraich the school Principal said it was a historic day for school. TNS
