Two motorcycle-borne armed robbers attacked a migrant labourer when he refused to hand them over cash and valuables at the Gandhi Nagar hosiery market.
The robbers, however, failed to loot anything from the migrant labourer, Ravi Kumar, as the latter raised alarm. A case has been registered against the unknown robbers.
After the incident, president of the Gandhi Nagar Readymade, Manufacturers and Traders Association Neeraj Ahuja Butta along with the other members of the association reached the spot and informed the police.
Staff from the Police Division 4 also reached the spot and started the probe.
As the crime was captured by CCTV cameras, police scanned several cameras and got clue about some suspects. Sources said the police rounded up some suspects in the case and may hold a press conference on Sunday.
