Ludhiana, December 7
SS Bindra, Senior Town Planner (STP) of the Ludhiana Division, MC, here, has written to assistant town planners of all zones under the Municipal Corporation and officials of all municipal councils of the Ludhiana region and asked them to submit their respective reports regarding the regularisation of unauthorised colonies.
As per a clause of the Regularisation Policy, 2018, all applicants who had applied for regularisation of their colonies more than one year ago must be asked to produce sale deeds of the plots which had been shown sold in their applications. In case they fail to comply, their applications must be rejected immediately.
Bindra asked the officials concerned to check with colonisers whether they have got registries of the plots, which had been shown sold in their applications, done or not. The colonisers had attached agreements of the plots with their applications for regularisation of their colonies. If the colonisers have not fulfilled conditions as per the policy, the officials concerned have been asked to prepare and submit report to the office of the STP. — TNS
