Ludhiana: Under the Tata Sustainability Month, Tata Project Limited organised a programme at International Public Senior Secondary School today. During the programme, school students were asked to plant more and more trees to keep global warming in check. Students were also distributed plants on the occasion.

During the programme, school students were asked to plant more and more trees to keep global warming in check. Students were also distributed plants on the occasion. 

Martyrdom day observed

Green Land Convent School, New Subhash Nagar, observed Martyrdom Day on the school premises to pay obeisance to Guru Arjun Dev. Gurbani was recited in the morning assembly. A special morning assembly was also organised in which students were given an insight into the life of Guru Arjan Dev, his teachings and philosophy. His ideologies and sacrifices were also discussed by the teachers.

BVM, Kitchlu Nagar

Remembering the martyrdom of Guru Arjan Dev, a “shabad gayan” was organised at BVM, Kitchlu Nagar, to aware students about his teachings, selfless service, dedication and commitment to peace and harmony. A chhabeel of sweet cold water was also set up. 

Summer camp 

A 15-day long summer camp concluded at Ryan International School, Jamalpur, today. Myriad of workshops were held in the school which gave opportunities to students to explore their talents and skills. Instrumental music, dance, cricket, basketball, karate, skating, badminton, boxing, health and fitness were some of the workshops held. Students had a refreshing time during the camp and learned various skills. Certificates were distributed to all participants. TNS
