Accusing AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Raghav Chadha of “murder” and “running Punjab government by proxy”, the BJP today slammed the Bhagwant Mann government for “leaking” a “confidential list” of people whose security had been withdrawn and “running Punjab through proxy”.

“Who leaked a confidential list and made it public. Nowhere in the world, a list of people whose security has been withdrawn is made public by any government. In a way it was an invite to murderers that we have withdrawn security and now you can do your job,” BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said, launching a fierce attack on Kejriwal and Chadha following the fatal attack on young Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.

Patra questioned “who did you consult before withdrawing the security, did you take any input, do analysis on threat perception or did you just do it for pure politics and gathering accolades”.

“People who do not understand the politics of Punjab are operating Punjab through remote control,” Patra said, calling Bhagwant Mann a “puppet CM”.

“The Punjab police works on your (Kejriwal) and Raghav Chadha’s instructions. If the force actually worked for the people this would not have happened,” Patra said, also questioning how much security Kejriwal and Raghav Chadha had.

“Does Raghav Chadha stay without security in Punjab. I am told you (Kejriwal) move with 90 gunmen,” he said, accusing the two AAP leaders of being “directly responsible for the murder” of Moosewala.

“Chadha has 45 gunmen…Is Raghav Chadda important or the Jathedar of the Akal Takht,” BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa, questioned, urging Home Minister Amit Shah to order an enquiry into how and who leaked the confidential list.

An emotional Sirsa also promised Moosewala’s mother and Punjab to “teach a lesson” to those responsible for his death.

“When I heard his mother, I had no words. The dirty politics of Arvind Kejriwal is responsible for the brutal killing of Sidhu Moosewala whose security was withdrawn yesterday.

“He (Kejriwal) should be booked for murder. He can get anyone’s children murdered…this I am not saying but Sidhu Mossewala’s mother is. I will go to court. I want to tell his family that people who took away his security and made the documents public, we will teach them a lesson,” he said.

BJP IT cell in charge Amit Malviya questioned whether cold-blooded murder of popular singer Sidhu Moosewala was the change AAP promised.

“As CM of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal himself has a large security entourage but leaders in a sensitive border state like Punjab must not have security,” Malviya said.

“Kumar Vishwas, former founder member of AAP, had warned of Arvind Kejriwal’s dalliance with forces that are inimical to Punjab’s peace and security. It has just been a little over two months and we can already see the dangerous footprints of the bloody game that is afoot. Scary,” he added in a series of tweets.
