The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) on Thursday lit up 100 of its monuments in colours of the national flag as the country crossed the 100-crore vaccination mark.
17 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Ramappa Temple (Telangana), Dholavira (Gujarat) and Capitol Complex (Chandigarh), were lit up.
Marking the milestone
Delhi: Humayun’s Tomb, Safdarjung Tomb, Tughlaqabad Fort, Purana Qila, Tomb of Rahim Khan
HP: Kangra and Nurpur forts
Punjab: Nur Sarai, including the gateway at Nurmahal
Haryana: Hisar Fort
J&K: Shankaracharya and Avantipur Temple complexes
Uttar Pradesh: Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri
Rajasthan: Forts of Chittor and Kumbhalgar
