Ropar, April 16
Anandpur Sahib MP and Shiromani Akali Dal candidate for the Lok Sabha seat, Prem Singh Chandumajra today attacked Congress’ nominee Manish Tewari, calling him a rolling stone.
“Fearing defeat, Tewari had left Ludhiana in 2014 and this time he tried to contest from Chandigarh… He is an outsider and doesn’t even have basic knowledge of the constituency,” Chandumajra said.
Since April 11 when the Congress declared Tewari’s candidature from Anandpur Sahib, Chandumajra has been claiming that Congress had to field an outsider as it could not find any suitable candidate from the constituency. To this, Tewari had said Chandumajra belonged to Patiala, so he too was an outsider.
