In a benevolent gesture, residents of Nabha in Patiala district appaluded a sanitation worker doing the crucial job of keeping the city clean amid coronavirus crisis.
His hand-cart in tow, the sanitation worker was in for a pleasant surprise as he was crossing a lane. People clapped for him and showered him with flower petals.
Some went a step ahead and offered him garlands of currency notes.

The video tweeted by Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh drew an applaud from netizens.
