Amritsar Sahitya Utsav begins today

The annual literature festival, Amritsar Sahitya Utsav, was organised by Naad Pargas, an NGO working in the field of higher education and academic research, is all set to open at Khalsa College for Women from Tuesday.

The three-day event is being organised in association with the Punjabi Academy, Delhi, the Punjab Art Council, Chandigarh, and the Chandigarh United Nations Association. The aim was to engage researchers and students in the fields of their respective fields, giving them a suitable environment for developing their skills and abilities, said Varinderpal Singh, secretary, Naad Pargas.

He said students and researchers from Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi and other educational institutes of North India would take part in the festival.
