Man dupes people on pretext of jobs, arrested

MOHALI:The Balongi police have arrested a person for duping people on the pretext of providing them jobs.

The Balongi police have arrested a person for duping people on the pretext of providing them jobs.

The suspect has been identified as Surinder Vaidh (35), a resident of Chajju Majra colony near Balongi here.

According to the police, Surinder was running a fake firm in the name of MS Security Services near the tax barrier, Balongi. He was taking money on the pretext of providing jobs to people.

“Investigation is on in the case. We are yet to ascertain the number of victims in the case,” said the police.

A case has been registered against the suspect under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code at the Balongi police station.

Fake firm

According to the police, Surinder Vaidh was running a fake firm in the name of MS Security Services near the tax barrier, Balongi. He was taking money on the pretext of providing jobs to people.
