To discover the artistry of stencil work and to encourage the aspiring artists, the Kausa Trust held stencil workshop and art exhibition at KT Kala art gallery. The art work was based on several themes including Mahatma Gandhi.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of more than 80 students representing various schools. Curated by artist Meghna Malhotra, the workshop aimed to foster artistic expression saw young minds exploring the world of stencils as they were made aware about techniques and nuances of the genre.
Highlighting the significance of the event, Rajesh Raina, secretary of Kausa Trust, emphasised the transformative power of art in shaping young minds.
Director of KT Kalã Brajesh Jolly shared that one of the distinctive features of the workshop was the recognition of outstanding talent through cash awards. The art work will be displayed at an exhibition at KT Kala.
“The event not only served as a platform for artistic expression but also as a catalyst for community engagement, bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds,” said Jolly.
Distinguished personalities, artists, and art enthusiasts, namely including Nisha Ghai, Mala Chawla, Jyoti Khanna, were part of the exhibition and workshop as mentors.
